My "culture" is a mishmash of the many cultures I have worked with and the interwoven "plaid" of the cultures of my several ancestors. This one one of many pottery plates in my dining room hutch. I love the deep yellows and blues. Even the darkest winter night is brightened.

I have these same colors in pottery from México, Israel and Portugal.
