Are you sure this is notatus? The lower stripe appears to be greyish rather than reddish, suggesting that this could be orestes instead. This would be interesting, because lowland forms of orestes are all doubtful according to Payne et al. and this Tawau specimen could be a first lowland record, if indeed confirmed. Any thoughts?
