As I sat drinking a macchiato at one of my favourite cafes, this homeless or disadvantaged man moved around seeking money, help, anything. I felt uncomfortable.
A young woman did not turn the other way. She did not give out money - she asked him to sit down and wait - then she went and bought this man something from the cafe.
Reach out - do not look the other way.
