Intriguing portrayal of this man, killing time by himself while he waits for ... what? Nightfall? A friend's arrival? A ride home? The backpack suggests he may be homeless, carrying his life around with him, but of course one can't know for sure. He definitely looks isolated, though. The image is compelling. Brenda

the image makes me think I cold be there were it not for fate for that matter any one us can walk in his shoes. this is a very good journal of of a mans life even though it is only a split second in time.

Ah yes Carlos, I remember this photo and it still stands up really well over time. The bag being a strange distance away is a bit curious. charlie
