San Carlos, Salta,

We arrived, after 24 km along the famous route 40 (i will say more about it in next images), at San Carlos,
a quiet village that was an important centre at times of conquest.
Four cities were founded and destroyed here.
Finally, this one stayed and once was about to be capital of Salta’s province.
The church of San Carlos is the hugest of Calchaqui valleys.

The figure with the bicycle really adds a sense of everyday reality to the scene. Excellent. V
