The Hughes Flying Boat (H-4 Hercules) "Spruce Goose" is the centerpiece of the Evergreen Aviation Museum. It is one of the largest aircrafts ever built.
This all wood plane was actually made of birch, not spruce. It flew only once, in November 2nd, 1947, for less than a minute.
