It was another beautiful day and I couldn't resist going flying. I spent all the time in the pattern working on "chirp" landings, as Tom Beech would say. After I put the airplanes away I headed over to the fridge for a soda. As I opened the door, my eyes were attracted to the six pack of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and thought to myself,"Self, isn't is customary to drink beer after flying?" I replied, "Self, that is correct." So I enjoyed a cold one. Great feeling sitting there in the warm sun watching the other airplanes in the pattern.
