Loy Kratong festival is as popular as Songkran in Thailand, and as releted to water. the Kratongs are little floats, lovingly decorated and candle-lighted, carrying symbolically the misfortunes and sins of the past year, and also for lovers, the wishes for the new one coming. It takes place during the full moon of the 12th lunar month.
