Zipper Glyph

The Parowan Gap petroglyphs were created by Archaic peoples (Great Basin Abstract Style) and the Fremont (Sevier Style A). The "Zipper Glyph" petroglyph that is shown here may have functioned as a map and calendar of travels. It may have also functioned as a summer solstice marker.
