Splendid shot! This is one of my favorite arch. The Arch of Titus is built in order to commemorate the capturing of Jerusalem over Jewish Zealots. This marble is triumphal arch is constructed by Domitian just after his brother death. It is said that this is a monument that stands for the life of Emperor Titus.
