Landing - Bruce

One of the few good paragliding days I had this year. Taking off from the Long Mynd ridge towards the end of the day,
I got to 5500 feet in thermals, and cruised around enjoying the view for over an hour, heading out to our
campsite to spiral down for a much needed beer...

Not fair...But I like it. I do feel the vertigo....whoooaaaa...... Amazing about thermals. as long as it daytime you can stay up all day long. Just like the eagles that just seem to glide forever using the thermals. Great shot!!

Thanks everyone. Go for it Shirley! The air was quite smooth here Miro, so safe to let go of the brakes for a while. I can use my C70 single handed if necessary, and hold the two brakes handles in one hand,

Very nice view. How did you made this photo. You suppose to hold those strings for maneuvering.

Oh man, I get dizzy just looking at this! What a marvelous scene, though. Looks like a popular spot to judge by the RV's and cars.

I think that would be a blast!! I think it would be a bit scary when it came to landing. Catching the thermals and gliding about would be great! My son told me next year for my birthday he is going to buy me 40 minutes in a glider. I hope I get to go! I have to earn it first. I hope you had a pleasant end to your descent. :o)
