The Northern Cross and the Milky Way

You can see several deep sky objects in this frame if you look closely. The North American and Pelican nebulas are obvious, but you can also see the Veil Nebula. The planetary nebulas M-27 and M-57 are also very obvious, but small, red dots. It was taken with a Hasselblad 500 C/M and a 80mm f/2.8 lens. It's a one hour exposure taken at Sunglow, Arizona in late May, 2003.
