Strike one

My first attempt at painting with light - went pretty much as I expected, swing and a miss!

What I learned was:
1) Not during a full moon
2) Use a more powerful flashlight
3) Shoot something thats not lit by any other light source (streetlights, cars, etc.)
4) Not on a week day.. makes work the next day very painful
5) Bring coffee, coffee with Baileys, long underwear, etc.

Vatorman... Road trips are cool. If Brad gets out of line - SPLASH!

...this is a private comment right?

Cool scene to do though - I found a 22 takes care of unwanted lights :-)
- I might think about a road trip. And right on numbers 1-5 too.

Images like this a night and in the city are always neat..and I should do more also.
As for the week night..It's better now that is getting close to winter...I just love shooting at night in the winter...coffee and warm gear is a must.....braVo...Mike

Haha! I know some of those lessons! Sometimes you just don't need painting. Pretty scene and composition without it!
