Hi Hutch ... I think ... I think you've hit a goldarn home-run here! I'd simplify a little by takomg the top down to the 'v' in the centre of the picture where the dark closer tree overlaps the light farther tree. That will isolate and clarify the way the front of the monk reflects the 'line' of the join of the trees. Maybe lose a bit of the left side too .. but that would compromise the nice sweeping top left-to-bottom right diagonal you've got going. I consider these points small, because a Home-Run is a Home Run, and IMO you've hit it. In Fact, IMO .. this is an EAGLE shot ... except that it is a Human Being. What am I saying ... Ywes! i think you've got the 'Oneness with Habitat' feel. I think that is one of your unique specialities .. cf eagles and coyote.
