The Great Blue Herons in this gallery were all seen at the Rotary Riverfront Trail in Washington, MO, USA. This trail is 3 miles of blacktop for walkers, bicycle riders, skaters etc along the Missouri River. This heron is looking for a potential meal by disturbing the water. He flew and danced for about a minute looking for fish to eat.
