My brother surprised me with a new 50D for a birthday present.
He said I was wearing out my 30D. I doubt that, but here's one
of the first shots I took while standing in my home office just
after opening up the box and throwing on a lens.

He also got one for himself (upgraded from 40D), so now when we go on
shoots together I have no excuse as to why his stuff is always
better than mine, I'll know it's his skill level. I always used
to argue it was the camera.
