Sea Lions were everywhere thrashing around with salmon in their mouths. They would attract birds and other wildlife who would scavage from his catch. In the background a train heads south. I would later struggle up that shoreline as I got to my southern destination so fast that I left before the current changed. Finally after 2 hours of struggling into the wind the current I knew would come picked me up and whisked me to the north end of the Narrows.
