BOOKS: Book of Knowledge

There was a set of these books (The Book of Knowledge) in my home
when I was growing up and I read every one.

The contents include folk tales, poetry, history, lessons,
natural history, anthropology, songs, activities and interesting facts.

This particular set was published in 1918 and I bought it through eBay.

This set of the very same edition was in my home when I was a child. I loved every volume and read them all many, many times.

Old books are so much nicer and wiser than the new ones, not to mention kids are not very eager to read today.
