Like the Bridge of No Return inside the Joint Security Area (JSA) at Panmunjom, this bridge called Freedom Bridge was the site of prisoner-of-war repatriations at the end of the Korean War 25 Jun 50 to 27 Jul 53. It remains open for one way traffic alternating directions every 15 minutes (think of it as a really long red light).
