Thanks all, especially Goffen for the pun :-) Had to experiment a bit and ended up blanking off the rear side blue window with carboard and sticky tape to get the right amount of light coming through the front one. Worked out OK though. My wife wonders why her kettle got polished on one side only! :-)

I love this photo! I actually love that kettle! I like the bright blue window on the steel. Now you've made me want a cup of tea! You did a great job on this shot with the lighting, the steam shows up nicelt and this would be a great stock photo I think.
