I did a lot of work on this image for a color print contest at our camera club. As you can see I chopped off the tip of his ear and the bottom of his chin in the shot, but it was the best one of his eyes. So I cut out pieces of chin & ear from another image, joined them on, increased the paper size to accomodate the pieces. Then I took a picture of my eye, erased his and put my blue-er eyes in place of his blue, but not-as-blue eyes. While that doesn't matter for this contest, it did for the camera club color contest. Then I used a plug-in called from redfield called "fractalius" that I heard about from Sky. (You can see the color image here: http://www.stlcameraclub.com/2008-09-club-year/weekly-results/2008-10-01-color-prints/2008-10-01-color-prints.php ) To convert to B&W, I desaturated in Corel PP image adjustment lab and set new white and black points.
