At the very top center is the largest crater, Fracastorius, in this view of the moon's southeast limb. The 124-km wide crater sits at the edge of Mare Nectarus. At bottom left is the Rheita Valley, formed by a string of craters. The photo was taken with a 10-inch Newtonian telescope and a Nikon Coolpix 990 on August 25, 2002.
