Lafitte, Louisiana

In coastal Louisiana it is a tradition to make a living from the sea. Boats are handed down from father to son and another generation continues the tradition.

It's a great way of maintaining traditions...here it's the man on the land who passes it on...sadly with the ongoing droughts many of them have simply given up
