This is really monumental in its scope and effect. The semis give a sense of proportion to both the span and the depth of that gorge. "Creek" seems an understatement. Where I live, it's a canyon and then some. We don't have landscapes anything like this.

It has that feeling of a monument - like the photograph itself is carved into space. It really has weight and depth. Excellent shot, Sharon!

Thanks, all. Not all of Washington State is green. This area would be in the spring. Much of south-central WA gets only 6 - 7 inches of rain a year.
