I like that golden reflection of the sun dropping down and the storm moving in. All that's missing is a big bolt of lightning across that black sky! :o) I still love it!

A very futuristic image. Almost doomsday like.

It almost has one of those "Dark Tower" menacig aspects to it - like the gold of the light was made from some macabre source.

Very nice, though I think I'd like to see a tad more detail in the dark bits... very dramatic though as is, so maybe not! Alistair

For me this has a Pink Floyd feel to it.

I, too, love the dramatic quality of this, and the boldness of line. The color of the bridge itself contrasts so well with the darkness behind it, and the clouds add a softer touch.

Fabulous shot.

Wow Fantastic! Surely one of my "All Times Best"! Excellent!

A very good pair of photos. I think I prefer this because, in addition of the dramatic quality and strong composition, I like very much how the image goes from real in the left to unreal in the right. endika

Thanks Goffen, there was a concrete column beyond that point which is why I cropped it out. It just didn't belong in the image.

Good one Carlo. A sure top five placer !
I'd like to see the ending on the right side though.

Thank you for all your comments. It is greatly appreciated. I was out on a bridge finding expedition that day and have decided to go home because of the coming storm. I spotted this on my walk back and said thank you to the storm gods. At the right place at the right time. couldn't ask for anything more at the time except maybe a lightning strike on one of the towers as I snapped. I couldn't be so lucky.

Great shot Carlo, very dramatic with the impending storm clouds providing a great backdrop to the bridge's bright colour. Very well captured.

Superb Carlo! Evil colours, great exposure. Be afraid...

Great drama, the last light before the storm arrives has turned this into a really strong graphic image. Those clouds look so threatening and foreboding.
Really good choice to expose for the highlights too, increase the dramatic effect. Superb image!
