After a very long,very hot Israel summer,when the sun has shone continuously in a bright blue sky,azure seas have sparkled,sands have been dry and white,plantation has been brown and brittle,the people of the land have now grown weary and listlesss,and long for the next stage in nature's cycle to begin. The first clouds of autumn,fluffy,white and friendly,or dark and grey and threatening,are greeted with shouts of joy and gladness -they herald the first shower of rain and bring happiness and the hope for a year of plenty to follow.
