Simplicity at its best. Bill

Simple and beautiful, Helen. The reflections and the limited palette of colors make for a very arresting image.

I have to simply point in agreement to the previous comments and add that the mirror-still water further anchors the sense of still ... natural stillness to the sense of reality ... real life of this still life. Thankyou

Thanks, everybody, for your comments. I always find something interesting to photograph at the Botanic Gardens, which is actually only about 12 blocks from my house, so a very pleasant place to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Very peaceful and pleasing shot! I love the single bloom on the left and the reflöection very much.

The angle of the shot is very complimentary to the lines. Lines, shadows, reflections - I love this one, Helen.
