I like the washed colors look here, Katherine - probably partly due to the high ISO. Nice natural arrangement of garden tools.

Wonderful light and patterns, and a great assortment of items--I really like this. --Melanie

Really a great entry for the challenge Katherine! I like the composition, subtle color, the vertical lines and portrait orientation. I also think the thin white frame was a good choice here. Very nice indeed!

Impressive!. If it´s necessary a cat to get such a spectacular shot like this, I'm going to buy one at once (LOL).

Thanks for the comments! Alopa, I didn't use a ND filter - I had it on ISO 1600 because I was taking pictures of a cat on the other side of the barn where it was darker.

Great shot...excellent composition and lighting. I love how it looks like a lithograph.

Hi Katherine
You remember Inframan's 'Pictures that tell a story' theme? Well, your work here I have to think of as a 'moving' still life ... these impliments and cart are so close to the history and future of their use. Those tyre inner-tubes state ongoing maintainance ... and the light definitley NOT being that static cliched 'lost and forgotten in the shed' type. This light is the 'active use' light and I can almost imagine that a tidy person has left a well organized job at a convenient place to have her food and drink and then return.

Great composition, light and effect -- lovely image (despite all those dangerous looking things :-)).

Great "arrangement" with the forks and the flat tires. You have worked out all the details of the scene perfectly.

I like very much the texture that give the shot a rustic look, very nice!. Katherine I´m curious about ISO, 1600 seemed too much for this EXIF data. Did you use a ND filter to force high ISO?.

A very nice one Katherine...

That was my safety tip, sorry forgot to add name.

Nice lighting and a great rustic look.
But please if they are still hanging there turn the tools the other way around. LOL

Katherine, this photo has a warm rustic feel to it that really draws me into the sceen. It's absolutely terrific!

Beautiful shot, Katherine. Those tools look like they were put away by an art director. ;)
