Monet's House

Giverny, France

In addition to reproductions of some of Monet's most famous paintings (the originals are hanging
in museums), you'll see that Monet was quite a collector of Japanese prints. The most interesting
room for me, however, was the kitchen with the old stove and the brass pots hanging on the wall.
Unfortunately, photography is not permitted inside the house so you'll just have to go see it for
yourself! Editorial: The prohibition against photography simply seems stupid. If the Louvre permits
non-flash photography, then why not here?
