What a wonderful dog picture. she looks so content with herself. must have great people around her.
I like the your choice of speed and lens opening to capture those wonderful drops of water.

Aha! Thanks for the story Shirley. I assumed the toss was the dog shaking the water off : )

What an amazing shot! The droplets and the set of the head both convey suspended movement. And those eyes! This is just one of those moments you're lucky to see and share, let alone capture as you've done.

Dennis, nope she swam on out in the river picked it up and swam back and I got her leaping and coming back to shore. I wish she was my dog, what a sweetie she was. She was an 8 year old girl who now has human siblings and the dad still loves her best. (that's what he tells them all when he is alone with them I think) LOL She was a funny dog. This was off a boat ramp, a long boat ramp, and every time she would go get the toy and then go clear to the very top of the ramp and drop it and make her dad walk all the way to the top and come back down. That's why she had plenty of time to get prepared for another go. Smart eh? :o)

Great shot Shirley, The water gives the dog a smudge effect. Nice dog (yours?) very well captured. Dennis
