As it passes along the western shore of Crystal Lake (far side of lake here) the Crystal Lake Road goes, for a long ways, within a few yards of the lake, providing many opportunities for great views. Only at the last third of this photo, at the right side, does the road go deeper into the woods, making the lake no longer visible.
