I'm in San Mateo to attend the California Hospice and Palliative Care Association's annual conference. At the airport we were supposed to be able to catch a shuttle provided by the Marriott. We caught a shuttle that said Marriott on the side but it took us to another hotel, but not ours. We had gone to Burlingame instead of San Mateo. The driver told us that we had to get off there and that they no longer had a shuttle from our hotel. We took a taxi to our hotel and by 5PM we were able to check in to our rooms. Then we took another taxi to TGI Fridays, had a nice dinner then walked across the street and went shopping. Another taxi back to the hotel and I was really done for the night.
