Two images of two young Common Mergansers from the broods of thirty commanded by Mom, the BOSS. The troop seems to have dispersed and broken up. For the past two weeks, I've only seen two or three of young from the 28 to 30 that frequented our shores for the previous six weeks or so. These images of the two Mergansers, resting on a neighbours dock, were taken from our dock. It's hard to tell the young from the adults now.
