I like the sort of coppery metal hue of the road and all the cracks on the surface.... it does drawn you in. I wonder how it would look at a bit more of a diagonal. It's very barren but works for that reason.

Great shot - i don't use my kit lens enough and this shot makes me appreciate that 18mm is actually a pretty good wide angle. I must enter this assignment. Good shot..
