I must thank everyone for the congratulations on my winning the POTM and the show of relief for my recovering from my sickness. Only on PBase can one find this kind of loving experience.

Tech. notes: I took this image on a very windy day when the cloud was blocking and revealing the Sun every few minutes. Needless to say, the flower was being blown really hard. The challenges of taking this image were to capture the pose of the flower at the right moment, the blue sky revealed yet with a little cloud left and the Sun shinning on the flower at the correct angle. And since this is not a cropped image, the composition had to be right in-camera. The answers to the challenges were patience and lots of shots.
