Thanks Collin and Colin! These were sitting in the dash of the car (we eat way to much stuff in the car) and that was sunlight on them and they looked good enough to eat and thought I'd give it a try taking a photograph up close.

Love this one. We have what we call "Splap Chips" its a bit bigger that a french fry and is normally server with salt and vinegar. Tates great but not good on the waste line. I have been baned from eating them.

Excellent abstract from an everyday food stuff.
I think everyone but the French call them french fries, they just call them just Pomme Frite

LOL It is suppose to be Pomme de Frites but, I wanted to say Français! Remember the old Coke commercial, the guy and girl on a train and he says "Pouvez vous français?" to the pretty girl. You're right, this is a good reminder of why you shouldn't eat French Fries, but when they are super hot Mmmmmmm they are good. I think I like the other shot better. Hope you don't mind if I change it.

I ike this one crop better
My French is rather poor poor but I would like some pome de frites because they have been restricted from my diet for sometime now.

Can't make up my mind whether this is an image of French fries or of clogged arteries LOL. Great shot Shirley!
