I found this young soldier with his bugle ready to play for his fallen brother at the Houston Veterans Memorial Cemetary. I was walking around and saw him and his fellow platoon members and they told me of the young man who had died in Iraq and that they were going to bury him that day. I started crying. This young man was only 24 years old and died for his country and to help others. Then, I was asked if I could take a picture of him for the boy's family that would be there soon. And, of course, I said yes. Please remember our men and women fighting in your prayers. And, please listen to the music in the box underneath the image.
Cindi, what a beautiful tribute here. Let's hope our new commander in chief does not forget these brave young men and women and diminish all that they have fought for! V
Because of my background, this photo and the You Tube selection under it means a lot to me and my fellow military personnel, both active and retired. Thank you for posting it and thank you for remembering all of us ... voted
