This House Wren was perched on a feeder hook in the summer of 2006 in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin. It was taken using a Nikon digiscoping outfit - a Nikon Fieldscope ED82, a Nikon wide angle 30x eyepiece, a Nikon digiscoping adapter and a Nikon Coolpix P1 camera. Although I was pointing the scope nearly directly into the setting sun, there was no flare and no degradation of the image, and the shadow detail was well-defined and contrasty.
