This grumpy grouse has good reason to be pissed-off, it's officially the wettest summer here since records began AND the grouse season has just started! Whilst Black Grouse are not the intended target of the hunters they are disturbed & may be accidentally shot as they are flushed from the hills.

Already inbred, chinless wonders are wandering the moors shooting at anything that breaks cover. Actually that's a bit unfair as the modern grouse-shooting fraternity seems now to be composed of Accountants & Lawyer syndicates -plenty of money to spare & no conscience seem to be the necessary prerequisites!
