Mike, this is a very poignant and beautiful series.
The elderly subjects look weary, tired, frail, and
detached, in survival mode, and yet both images also convey
a sense of hope (especially the bird feeder) about these people.
In contrast, the young(er) subjects here exude wiry energy,
and a carefree (cool?) attitude; and they are shown fully engaged.
