my grandfather was at the Nek, 8 th Cheshires 13 th Division British Army,he was deployed as replacements for the Anzac Corps and was in support of I recall the 10 th light horse and the Battalion history states they were very warmly received and cheered by the Australians,must have been the only time in history ?
