This tunnel is an abandoned railroad tunnel in the Cascade Mountains
of Washington, and is now a popular biking and hiking route.
This weekend it turned into a Musher's Haven as the NW Sled Dog Association members
and K9 Scooters NW members met together to go run in the cool temps of the
Snoqualmie Tunnel.
We had to wear headlamps to see because it was pitch black inside.

The black dog is Ringo, owned by Eimanne, who is a new friend of Laura's (and mine).
She is just getting into the sport and ran earlier with my scooter. Then we put Ringo
in my team and she was on the back of my Outlaw Cart while Laura ran Galena with
my scooter. Ringo did GREAT! It was his very first time in a team!
And Galena did GREAT too... as did the rest of my team! WOO HOO HOO for all the kids!
