From one Fallen Flag to Another

MPA 1506 is now RHTS 1506 and is waiting on one of their tracks to go back into her Reading Colors.Reports are she has a water leak,but the goal is to get her back to a operating status.As time permits i will continue to update her progress.

The Leaks are not the block itself but where each power assembly seats on the block. This is a common Ailment for older 567 engines. To fix it we have to remove all 16 power assemblies clean and regasket both the block and the power assemblies. In order to do the work over a dozen custom fabricated tools had to be made to work on the EMD engine since the RCT&HS had no such tools. It is very possible these repairs will be completed during 2011 at some time.

Go Emons! Water leak, unless its inside the block, should'nt be that big of a deal, find it and fix it! :)
