Physoconops obscuripennis

Note the entirely black ("tongue"-shaped) marking on the frons (Physocephala would have a "T"-shaped marking on the frons).
The relatively short 3rd antennal segment (i.e. much < 2/3 the length of the 2nd antennal segment) indicates the nominate subgenus Physoconops.
And the species here is P. obscuripennis, from the tongue-shaped black patch entirely covering the frons, the lack of a clear boundary between an obfuscated anterior
and hyaline posterior portion of the wings (which inspired the specific epithet), and the color pattern.… Aaron Schusteff.
