Your first view of Saturn through a telescope will leave you breathless - I have seen it many times now and it never fails to amaze me.

Capturing a sharp image of Saturn through earth's atmosphere is much more difficult than it might seem. This is my best attempt so far, made with a Philips SPC-900NC webcam, through an 8" newtonian reflector at an effective focal length of 2,000 mm (80 inches).
