On this 2008 trip to Utah I had hoped to photograph the abandoned lime plant at Marblehead, but
weather and a "no trespassing" sign changed my plans. I took this shot as I approached the
plant during a brief but ferocious rain storm---little streams were running all over the road. The
largest image reveals distortions caused by bug stains on the windshield. Marblehead is a site about
a mile northeast of Interstate 80 Exit 62 in Utah. The abandoned plant is visible from the interstate.
My vantage point is at the center of this WikiMapia aerial view.
