John Robarts Vc was born either 1818 or 1820 in Chacewater. Cornwall. Uk. He won the VC in the Crimean War. The people of Chacewater are going to place in the centre of the village a memorial to John Robarts VC. I can forward all details, are you related to him he died in Highlands Cemetery. Southsea Nr. Soupthampton 17th Oct 1888, of heart desease. Thank you

Just learned he killed himself at 65. How sad...we never can tell what is in another person's soul, heart or mind and why they think the way they do. But we are all gravely saddened by the loss of another human being by their own hand. WE all wish we could have been the one who assisted them and diverted them from this sad ending.
