Nepenthes ventricosa

Newly opened pitcher 'trap', ready to lure unsuspecting insects to their death. The pitcher partially fills with digestive juices to finish the job. The end result is absorbed into the plant as nourishment.

This is a very unusual looking plant Tom! This looks like it should be in a plant magazine or something, and would look really dramatic against a black background. I like it! :-) CJ
