Dr. Williams, born at Reidsville, Ga., 5-11-1872, was a son of Thomas J. Williams, CSA, who was wounded at Antietam. Thomas was the brother of Lt. Col. Wiley J. Williams. Wylie was probably named for his uncle Wiley. Mother was Emily Brazell Sharpe. Studied dentistry at Vanderbilt Univ. Practiced in Jacksonville, Fl., Atlanta, and Birmingham.
