Johor Lama recce bike trip - 11 & 12 March 2006

We had little info about Johor Lama but went to check it out anyway.
Started at 9am from Singapore. Stopped at JB for breakfast. Kota Tinggi for Lunch.
The weather was unusually warm that day & we had to make numerous stops for drinks & rest.
Johor Lama is just a small fishing village but rich in history. The nearest town - Telok Sengat is a quaint & quiet place. Accomodation available is basic, either hotel or the floating inn.
We took a boat across Johor River to Kongkong.
Cycled over to Masai - Plentong - Johor Baru.
It was a pleasant short trip.
